Graphic communication is a type of communication which employs graphic elements such as symbols, icons, pictographs, typography, illustration and image. It is the process of creating, producing, and distributing material incorporating words and images to convey data, concepts, and emotions. Among the products of graphic communication include brand logo, poster design, advertising and website design.
The field of graphic communication encompasses various processes from idea (design, layout, and typography) through reproduction, finishing and distribution of two- or three-dimensional artworks or electronic transmissions.
